Crawford can’t lose against Alvarez!

When Terence “Bud” Crawford steps into the ring against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez on September 13th, it will be for more than a win, and more than belts. There is something bigger that will be gained, Legacy!

Crawford is adding to his legacy by fighting someone that has already solidified his, is the biggest name in boxing, in an act of daring to be great.

Alvarez has been recognized, by many, as a declining fighter over the last couple years, but no matter how you view him, we can all agree he is still better than most, so beating him is still a great feat.

Crawford is not only fighting a warrior of the highest caliber, he is moving up in weight to do it, and he can’t lose by doing that.

There is nothing but benefits surrounding this fight for Crawford:
1) He’s getting a big check.
2) If he wins, he’s champ!
3) If he loses, he adds a positive note to his legacy.
4) By taking the fight, he has already gained fans for his audacity and grit.

At the end of the day, Alvarez is the only one who can truly lose in this fight because if he loses to the older smaller guy, it’s going to confirm his decline in his fan’s minds, and others will see Bud as being the better fighter, either way, he has to win this fight, no matter what!

I’m not giving my prediction to the fight just yet, but it is definitely going to be a fight filled with sparks and explosions, and if it ends in KO, Canelo wins, but if it goes the distance, it benefits Crawford but it makes things way more complex.

I’m not ignoring the mountain Crawford will have to climb to win, but I’m also not ignoring the fact that he just might have the strength to do it!

Hopefully the fans get a great fight, both fighters gain whatever lessons, triumphs, or personal gratification they seek and they both get to go home to their families with no lasting injuries.
