Tomorrow night Floyd “Money” Mayweather will once again face Marcos “El Chino” Maidana at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The first fight was won by the undefeated P4P king Mayweather by majority decision, which might not have set well with Floyd, and seems to be the reason he wanted the rematch. He has been quoted, by many websites, as saying that he will knock Maidana out this time, so it does seem to be some form of redemption he’s trying to gain in this fight.
Is Mayweather trying to beat Maidana more definitively for the naysayers or did he not have another viable opponent to fight before he faces a huge fight in May 2015? I’m not sure, but I see this fight going the same way as it did the first time but with a little more fireworks from Mayweather. One thing I’ve noticed about Marcos Maidana is his style has never changed that much from one fight to the next, and with him facing the likes of Floyd, I see him being the same fighter from before.
If you enjoyed the first fight, which I thought was exciting, then don’t miss the second; it will be almost a carbon copy of the first one with slight differences.
The fight airs on Showtime PPV at 8pm eastern time.
