Manny Pacquio wins easy Saturday!
Manny Pacquio vs Timothy Bradley Jr this Saturday…………why am I not excited about it? Am I the only person that doesn’t really look at this like a big fight? Let me explain….
The past 3 years Pacquio has fought subpar fighters, whom some already lost to Floyd, and you can tell that the fighters they picked were tailored to his style other than Marquez which I believe he lost to. Now that he is fighting a fighter that is young and supposedly in his prime I’m supposed to look at this fight like a thriller? NO, Bob Arum went to his stable of fighters and picked someone that looks like he’s at the top of his game, but doesn’t seriously oppose a threat to his cash cow Manny Pacquio.
Timothy Bradley is a good energetic fighter who attacks, but he has no power, so how is he supposed to keep Manny off of him? What part of Bradley’s style leads you to believe that Manny will have any problems because Tim’s chin isn’t made of Teflon, Kendal Holt showed us that.
I see this fight being a good payday for Bradley, but I cannot get caught up in the over-hyped advertisement because realistically this is not going to be a hard fight for Manny. I see it lasting about 4 rounds with Bradley being beat up the entire way. Pacquio wins this by KO in the middle rounds in another easy fight.
I am a hardcore boxing fan so I will be watching and I hope I am wrong and we end up with a fight of the year candidate, but I believe it is unlikely.
